Ravi Shanker Peesapaty started his seagoing career as a Graduate Marine Engineer after graduating from Indian Maritime University (D.M.E.T). He became a Chief Engineer after 11 yrs of sea career and subsequently became a Classification Surveyor with Indian Register of Shipping in India. He carried out Classification Surveys, Statutory, New Building and Industrial (Marine Component) Surveys for 3.5 yrs with IRS after which he moved to Hong Kong to become a Technical Superintendent (12 yrs). He then shifted to Commercial operations as Operations Manager and later as Manager (Optimisation and Decarbonisation) for 12 yrs in Hong Kong. He attended many professional courses and certifications which have enhanced his competence, skills and knowledge as a first-class surveyor and shipping expert. He carries out various Marine Surveys, Flag State Inspections, Audits, P&I condition surveys and H&M surveys for HDUM in Hong Kong.
