Mr. Zoren Echavez earned his Bachelor of Science in Maritime Transportation from Capitol University. He started his seafaring career as Ordinary Seaman and gradually advanced to Second Officer, with years of hands-on experience onboard bulk carriers transporting nickel ore and bauxite. He holds valid HAZMAT dangerous cargo and MARPOL training certificates, well familiar with bulk mineral loading operations across Southeast Asia. Since 2025, he has been with HDUM based in the Philippines, focusing on daily operational coordination, cargo site attendance, pre-loading attendance for mineral and nickel cargoes and full survey report drafting to support the team’s marine survey assignments nationwide.
