Mr. Domnic Alexander Robert Jacob holds a Diploma in Marine Engineering from Ungku Omar Polytechnic Malaysia and Class 1 Motor CoC. Starting from Engine Cadet to Second Engineer, he served as Chief Engineer on ocean-going vessels with solid engine department management experience. He spent over 10 years at Lloyd’s Register Malaysia, rising from Marine Surveyor to South Asia Operations Manager, covering class & statutory surveys, CAP assessments and ISM/ISPS/MLC audits. Later he worked as independent marine consultant and technical superintendent for local marine firms. Since April 2019, he joined HDUM as Technical Superintendent, ISM/ISPS/MLC Internal Auditor, IHM Expert and Marine Surveyor, fully in charge of all survey and audit assignments across Malaysia.
