HDUM was on 3rd June 2020 issued with a Letter of Acceptance of IHM Expert Company by Liberia Maritime Authority to conduct visual and/or sampling checks and testing of Hazardous Materials and preparing the Inventory of Hazardous Materials(IHM) on Liberian registered ships.
The aforesaid administration has reviewed the documentation submitted for compliance with the requirements for IHM Expert Companies as detailed in Appendix II of Marine Operations Note 01/2020, and the review has confirmed that HDUM meets the provisions in MEPC Resolution 269(68) for the development of the Inventory of Hazardous Materials.
HDUM is therefore authorized to conduct visual and/or sampling checks and testing of hazardous materials and preparing the inventory of hazardous materials(IHM) on board Liberian registered ships.
